Quad Cities – Eye Surgeons Associates is proud to welcome Dr. Martin O’Malley. Dr. O’Malley comes to Eye Surgeons Associates from private practice in Minnesota. His special interests include the surgical treatment of cataracts, using the latest surgical techniques and advanced lens technologies, and comprehensive ophthalmology. He is Board Certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. O’Malley grew up in West Des Moines, Iowa, and obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his medical degree and residency in ophthalmology at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York where he was elected chief resident by his co-residents. Dr. O’Malley adds, “I’m pleased to be returning to Iowa and making the Quad Cities home for my family. I’m excited to be working in a multi-specialty practice that provides quality and compassionate care for its patients.”
Dr. O’Malley joins Eye Surgeons Associates’ skilled team of cataract surgeons. Dr. John Frederick, President of Eye Surgeons, comments, “We are thrilled to have Dr. O’Malley joining our practice. His skill, qualifications, and enthusiasm will be a great asset to Eye Surgeons and the community.”
Dr. O’Malley will see patients in our Bettendorf, Iowa and Rock Island, Illinois clinics. He will have privileges at Genesis Health System and Unity Point Health.
