Eye Surgeons is pleased to welcome Dr. Clayton Kirk. Dr. Kirk completed his vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the prestigious Associated Retina Consultants in Phoenix, Arizona and brings the latest care for complex retinal diseases to patients in the Quad Cities.
Dr. Kirk was born and raised outside of Chicago. After graduating from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology and a minor in chemistry, he attended medical school at Loyola University in Chicago. He went on to complete a transitional year internship in Spokane, Washington before returning to Chicago for his ophthalmology residency at the Loyola University Medical Center. He then completed a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Associated Retina Consultants in Phoenix.
Dr. Kirk has advanced training in the surgical management of retinal detachments, macular puckers, macular holes, diabetic eye diseases, vitreous floaters, and secondary intraocular lens placement. “I am truly excited to join ESA and to work alongside such a talented and dedicated team. The practice’s commitment to excellence in patient care aligns perfectly with my own values and aspirations. I look forward to contributing my skills and expertise to serve our patients and the community. My wife and I grew up in the Midwest and are pleased to be making the Quad Cities our home.”
